![]() Anaconda is proud to partner with major brand names with a dedication to quality and performance, and Leatherman fits the bill. Leatherman remains an Oregon success story, with all Leatherman multi-tools manufactured in Portland. His untiring efforts resulted in a stainless steel supertool of highest quality that can provide a lifetime of use. Fully satisfied with the purchase and would recommend this product and the seller Atlantic Shoppe to anyone who wanta to but from them.Tim Leatherman, a native of Oregon, USA, had a drive to create the most versatile multi-tool possible. Also I should appreciate the seller for contacting me to check on the product. I also own a Victorinox Tinker small and a Vintorinox Rally which I use as keychains for my Car and Bike whicn are amazing little tools as well but the Sidekick looks like a older brother to get those tough jobs done. Got it for 4.2k which I feel is excellent price point considering it costs about $60 in the US. I havent tried all its capabilities yet but will surely will look for opportunities to put it action whenever possible. Quality without doubt is excellent and shows what Leatherman truly is all about. I especially like the knife which is accesible without having to open up the tool and can be managed single handedly and also the pliers are very sturdy. Tool is quite compact which makes it easy to carry without bothering much about the weight. Leatherman Sidekick is a excellent tool and can become a trusted companion for most of those day to day DIY stuff. I've been waiting for this tool for too long and finally this seller put it up on Amazon. I loop the additional tool in the loop of the sheath, but its not easy to take it out or put back in, maybe I am doing it wrong.įor the price, I'd recommend this multi-tool. The additional tool accessory has only one size hex spanner, with bottle-opener.Ĭomes with a nylon sheath that can be looped onto a waist-belt. On pulling out one tool, other tools besides it also get pulled out, though just a minor inconvenience. The small notch on the inside tools is not great to pull out the tools. The file is on the small side, the inch/cm scale on the other side is practically of no use because the edge is not straight and too small. There's a can opener and tin-opener, which is pretty standard. The small serrated knife is of no use to me. Pliers are spring-loaded, so can be used with just one hand. The (+) and (-) screwdriver heads are large, so you can't do minute work. They also lock, though not a positive lock like the knife and saw. ![]() All the remaining tools open only on the inside, but can be used with pliers tucked away, so quite usable. The knife and saw can be opened with just one hand, both are lockable, and open on the outside, so a big plus. Apart from this, other tools seem thick enough to take the daily brunt.ĭoes not have a large set of tools, but right for the price point. The Stainless Steel is good quality, does not feel cheap like the Chinese junk. It is light enough to be carried around daily in a back-pack, makes it quite handy. ![]() All the edges are well-rounded, so it won't hurt in the pocket. Size is on the small side, fits easily in jeans pocket, or on the belt (with the supplied nylon sheath). Good little everyday-carry for the price, though not great. ![]()
